Animation
The animations of this game are done extremely smoothly and blend together fluidly. Whether it is the two spiderman/side characters/enemies the animation is clearly detailed. It is obvious that they wanted to prove their skills with this game as well as their previous spider-man games. The combat animations feel fresh as they have added new fighting styles and abilities. They put a lot of focus on environment interaction as well, as when you run off building to a swinging animation it is very fluid. However I think it would have been cool to have branches swing or trees shake when you swing in the park. The interaction with water was amazing and it really felt like you could travel through New York. The animation of this game was so good even the facial expressions are highly detailed and expressive. Conveying a range of emotions during story-driven cutscenes and interactions. This adds depth to the characters and enhances the storytelling experience.
